About the course

As an immersive program, for 21 days you will be training 6 days a week with 1 day off to enjoy the local area. The schedule is perfectly balanced with a morning practice of Vinyasa, Meditation & Pranayama, followed by a nourishing organic, gourmet breakfast and break. Afternoons consist of fascinating lectures in anatomy, physiology and philosophy, each one engaging and hands on with a long 2 hour lunch break to reset on the beaches or in the cafes. The afternoon will be about practice teaching, sequencing and fun workshops, followed by a relaxing evening of Yin, sound healing, Yoga Nidra, a sit down dinner and connection!

The experience goes beyond the classroom, making even the family meal times a place to connect, relax and learn about nutrition and food. The whole training is an in-depth journey toward a Yogic lifestyle encompassing body, mind & spirit, investiagting where science meets spirituality!

Chinese Medicine based Yin YogaLearn from Adam, our co founder who is a Chinese Medicine practitioner and Acupuncturist. Learn how to sequence Yin classes using powerful knowledge around the Meridians and Chinese Elements. Peak posture teachingLooking to teach more advanced postures but don't know where to start or how to break it down in an accessible and step by step way? You're in the right place... Learn to prepare the body using a step by step approach and your anatomical knowledge to give your students the best chance of exploring the peak postures of Yoga Asana. Through years of experience working with all different ability levels, ages and injuries, we have created a methodology which makes postures more accessible, safe and pain free. You will be able to plan classes accordingly which may incorporate modifications, props, adjustments and assists to find 'peak postures'. This module is all about becoming a teacher, rather than a performer.

Advanced Teaching Methodology- How to weave Philosophy into your class sequencing - Study the Yogic text of The Yoga Sutras - Apply your anatomical knowledge in your classes - Learn the foundations of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) - Implement TCM in your Yin Yoga classes - Learn step by step intelligent sequencing methodology - Learn to connect mind, body and breath in a flow - Learn to make inclusive, modifiable and accessible classes - Get confident with your knowledge to share beyond the poses! - Learn to break down peak postures in Vinyasa and include them in sequnces - Pranayama & meditation facilitation skills & practice *We assume a certain level of maturity and level of knowledge around anatomy & philosophy which should have been taught at the 200HR level. Philosophy + History- Learn how to infuse Philosophy in your classes and teachings - Indulge in Philosophical discussions around dualism and non dualism - Learn the history and background of your practices: origin, development and modernisation - Core text group study: The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali - Buddhism & Yoga - Where they meet and diverge - Hinduism & Yoga - explore the interconnected nature of the religion and philosophy of Yoga - Study the popular Hindu Deities which offer insight and wisdom and learn how to respectfully draw meaning and incorporate them into your teachings.

Anatomy & PhysiologyGain a deeper understanding of how to apply the Anatomy of Asanas in order to use this knowledge for more inclusive and professional classes which help to prevent injuries or take into account personal limitations and help students gain functional movement. - Anatomy of Asanas - Posture analysis - Application of Anatomy knowledge (this is a key area which allows 200HR students to refine their knowledge and apply it) - Injury prevention + common injury, how to make adjustments, variations and inclusive sequences - Acknowledging injury + understanding the role of a Yoga teacher - Functional movement + Yogic conditioning (hypermobility vs flexibility) - Energetic Anatomy (Please see specifics mentioned in other modules)

MeditationIn Buddhism Meditation is referred to as the practice of 'becoming familiar with'. In the Yogic system we refer to it as 'total absorption'. In this module we will explore various modern and traditional techniques and teachings around Meditation. You will learn how to guide them, infuse them in your sequences and classes and be able to share the benefits and purpose behind the practice of Meditation. - Neuroscience of meditation - Modern Meditation techniques - Traditional Meditation techniques - Practice teaching + group work

Trauma informed YogaAs a school, the very foundations of our teachings are coming from our professional backgrounds in trauma and psychology training. Therefore all of our methodology, space holding and classes are trauma informed/aware. We will teach you how to recognise, respect and adapt your classes to be more sensitive, inclusive and empower students to find safety and autonomy within their own mind and body.

Special workshop: Business of YogaThis module is run by our co founders and lead trainers. Based on years of experience in the industry and having built their own school from the ground up using organic and non AI based tools, just old fashioned hard work and dedication. This module is all about learning practical skills for developing your career financially and aligning yourself with what you would like to do beyond the 300HR and knowing how to market successfully and organically.
